HOW TO LIVE IN HEAVEN WHILE ON EARTH
There are many who wonder, who will stand before The Throne of Jesus Christ to be approved by Him to enter The Blessed Assurance of Everlasting Life.
The Holy Scriptures reveal this is no mystery. Those who have desired holiness and righteousness and sought to bear His Name without fear of men. Those who desire this holiness daily wash themselves by confessing their sins and repenting sorrowfully before Him.
They believe that if they truly discern the fullness of Christ’s sacrifice to enable them to enter heaven which essentially means what He meant when He said, “He that drinketh my blood dwelleth in me, and I in him.” they will be cleansed of all sins and enter in to dwell with Him every day and night of their lives.
Therefore, that is why Jesus commanded His disciples to do so in Matthew 26:26-28. He also revealed that “He will not drink of this fruit (grape) of the vine from that point on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s Kingdom. “ Verse 25.
Why was this a necessary for Jesus to forgo to drink again of the wine? Jesus was without sin. This being that same Precious Blood of His Body that He would shed during His death on the cross to wash away all the sins of mankind. He was abstaining because He wanted there to be no confusion concerning the power of His Blood to wash away all taint of sin. Therefore, He said this so that all would come to believe in this truth would come and receive this cleansing and new life.
He desired for all to come, the fullness of The Bride to come into His Kingdom that shall have no end. He would not partake of wine because this would be an act that would diminish the fullness of the impartation to His Bride. He wanted to impart fullness of freedom to us all to enter in to heaven and receive our mandates with our mantles of authority. He also wanted to impart wholeness to His Bride. He abstained so that that fullness may be imparted.
Therefore, His Blood was now set apart as the fruit of the vine He consecrated for this purpose. The purpose of it then being utilized to cleanse all who would approach The Mercy Seat in heaven from that point onwards. He would not drink His own blood which would be shed for the forgiveness of sins. Christ was already sinless and the only acceptable blood to atone for all sins. He was the only acceptable living sacrifice who chose to offer His blood on mankind’s behalf. In reality, the sins of all mankind were put upon Him as He died on the cross. However, you must remember there is no substitute for the attitude of the heart. If your heart is still resisting holiness you cannot draw near to God The Father no matter how many times you take Holy Communion!
Hebrews 12:14 states, “Without holiness, no man will see The Lord” meaning Yahweh.
In the words of Jack W. Hayford in the New Spirit-Filled Life Bible, “The Blood.” Jesus used the occasion of the Passover meal to inaugurate the New Covenant. The symbolism of the Passover meal under the Old Covenant was about to be fully satisfied through Christ’s crucifixion. In this historic moment, Jesus transformed the meaning of the elements of the Passover meal into the New Covenant thought. The bread now represented His body, which would be given, and the cup His blood, which would be shed for the forgiveness of sins. The holy requirements of God and the Old Covenant were about to be forever satisfied. A new and living way into the presence and provision of God was being prepared through Christ (The Messiah) The Lamb of God. A new and eternal bond was being established by the blood of Jesus Christ. God was sovereignly inaugurating the New Covenant.”
He said, “As I live by the Father, even he that eateth me shall live by (in and through) Me.” ~John 6:57 Therefore, we are assured that we will not remain orphans apart from Jesus Our Brother and Our (Abba) Father because we have been invited to be partakers of The Father and the Son and of The Heavenly Kingdom. And Jesus Christ emphasised repeatedly, we would not die but live! “He that drinketh My Blood dwelleth in Me and I in Him.”
“This was the purpose for which Christ came in the flesh for in Him dwelt “all the fullness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9). For this, He “bare our sins in His own body on the tree” (I Peter 2:24); and by His death and resurrection, He delivered the body, as well as the spirit, from the power of sin and death.” Andrew Murray Pg. 130.
In an excerpt from Andrew Murray’s book, page 157-9 The Power of The Blood of Christ we find further revelation. For it is written, “Behold The Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (John 1:29). By shedding His blood He really bore the punishment of sin. He gave Himself up to death in our place. He gave His life as “a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:28). The punishment has been borne, and our Lord’s blood has really been shed as a ransom and appears before The Lamb of God in heaven. Thus the righteousness of God declares that the sinner’s surety, Jesus Christ, has fulfilled all the requirements of the law, regarding both punishment and obedience, and God pronounces the sinner who believes in Christ to be righteous. Faith is just the recognition that Christ has really done everything for me, that God’s declaration of righteousness is only His declaration that, according to the law, I have a claim to salvation. God’s grace bestows on me the right to heaven. The blood of the Lamb is the evidence of this right. If I have been cleansed by that blood, I can meet death with full confidence: I have a right to heaven.”
“You desire and hope to get to heaven. Listen, then, to the answer given to the question. “Who are they who will find a place before the throne of God?” They “have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” That washing takes place, not in heaven and not a death but here during our life on earth. Do not deceive yourself with a hope of heaven if you have not been cleansed, really cleansed , by that precious blood. Do not dare to meet death without knowing that Jesus Himself has cleansed you by His blood.”
“It is of little use for men to have a right to anything unless they are equipped to enjoy it. However, costly the gift, it is of little use if the inner disposition necessary to enjoy it is lacking. To bestow the right to heaven on those who are not at the same time prepared for it would give them no pleasure, but would be in conflict with the perfection of all God’s works.”
“The power of the blood of Jesus not only sets open the door of heaven for the sinner, but it also operates on him to such a divine way that, as he enters heaven, it will appear that he and the blessedness of heaven have been really fitted for each other.”
“What constitutes the blessedness of heaven, and what is the disposition that is fitted for it, we are told by words connected with this text:
“Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light (burn) on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.”
“Nearness to and fellowship with God and the Lamb constitute the blessedness of heaven. To be before the throne of God, to see His face, to serve Him and “day and night in His temple” (verse 15), to be overshadowed by Him who sits upon the throne, to be fed and led by the Lamb ---all these expressions point out how little the blessedness of heaven depends on anything else than on God and the Lamb. To see them, to have intimacy with them, to be acknowledge, loved, and cared for by them---that is blessedness.”
You may ask how is this possible? It is possible because of your own conscious act of will and your own choice to have an attitude of mind to be holy as He is holy.
“There can be no thought of fitness for heaven apart from oneness with God’s will. How could two dwell together unless they agree (Amos 3:3)? And because God is the Holy One, the sinner must be cleansed from his sin and sanctified; otherwise he remains utterly unfit for what constitutes the happiness of heaven. “Without holiness, no man shall see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14). Man’s entire nature must be renewed so that he may think, desire, will and do what pleases God, not as a matter of mere obedience in keeping a commandment but from natural pleasure and because he cannot do or will otherwise. Holiness must become his nature.”
“Isn’t this just what we have seen that the blood of the Lamb does? “The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (I John 1:7). Where reconciliation and pardon are applied by the Holy Spirit and are retained by a living faith, there the blood operates with a divine power, killing sinful lusts and desires. The blood exercises constantly a wonderful cleansing power. In the blood, the power of the death of Jesus operates; we died with Him to sin. Through a believing relationship with the blood, the power of the death of Jesus presses into the innermost parts o our hidden lives. The blood of Jesus breaks the power of sin and cleanses us from all sin.”
Now let us look at how we can enter into the secret place of God’s pavilion and dwell there in the secret place (between the cherubim). Firstly, your whole will must first be conformed to a desire to be in His Will. Secondly, your whole attitude of mind must be that of repentance daily for your sins by requesting Jesus for the sanctifying power of the fresh application of His Precious Blood that was shed to cover all your sins. “Because you have made the Lord who is my refuge, Even the Most High your dwelling place” (Psalm 91:9). Then it is possible to enter this place of refuge in heaven to delight in His Fellowship.
This was the same attitude of King David and that of the Psalmist when he recorded the spoken words of Psalm 133 in which the Spiritual Unity of The People of God is described in Acts Chapter Two. This wonderful unity only truly began when on The Day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit was poured out in the form of “the tongues of flames” which appeared above each person which was that of a deposit upon the people assembled who began to speak in various tongues. They spoke in each other’s tongues as a sign that this was an act of God.
However, true unity is spiritual unity of the Holy Spirit flowing in each of us and unifying us to glorify Our Heavenly Father in any way He directs, counsels and guides His People. Indeed, to bring into creation this outpouring of The Holy Spirit was the whole reason for the immaculate conception, birth as a Son of Man and the accomplished work of the cross that Jesus The Christ was conceived by Our Father so that we could be saved and He could have a family that would do exploits to glorify Him on earth in a unified effort together in a commissioned mandate to establish His Kingdom on earth.
As Andrew Murray the Bible expositor explained on page 130 of his book “The Power of The Blood of Christ”, “ For this and by His death and resurrection, He delivered the body, as well as the spirit from the power of sin and death. As the first fruits of this redemption, we are now one body, as well as one spirit, with Him. We are of His body of His flesh and of His bones. Because of this, in the observance of the Holy Supper, the Lord comes to the body also and takes possession of it. He does not work by His Spirit only on our spirits, so that our bodies will one day share in redemption a the resurrection but do not share in it now. Rather, the body that is here on earth is the temple of the Holy Spirit; and the sanctification of soul and spirit will progress the more gloriously, to the extent that the undivided personality, including the body, which exercises such an opposing influence, has a share in it.”
I take this to mean that our bodies will be transformed. We will have new bodies clothed in Christ’s glory. Just as Christ had a body that could go from place to place by appearing where the Father asked Him to appear and speak to the disciples. As in the upper room when the disciples were gathered and Jesus Christ appeared amongst them without any known entrance.
Then Andrew Murray continues: “Thus we are in the Supper so intentionally fed by “the real natural body, and the real blood of Christ” ___not following the teaching of Luther that the body of Christ is so in the bread that even an unbeliever eats the holy body of Christ, bu “real” in such a way that faith, in a secret way and by the Spirit, truly receiveds the power of the holy body and blood from heaven as the food by which soul and body become partakers of eternal life.”
However, Andrew Murray failed to depart from the Heidelberg Catechism. He was deceived by men to believe that this partaking was not by the Spirit of Man but by the mouth. Therefore, be it known that these are supernatural elements. For The Lord said, “If you do not eat my flesh and drink my blood you have no part in me.” The elements of wine and bread being the fullness of The Godhead within you when you take Holy Communion. This is a sign to Christ and Our Father and to His Watching angels that you desire to take part in His Kingdom and allow His Kingdom to come within you. It is the meal that heals and establishes the dominion of The Holy Spirit within you because you willingly allow Him entrance. The true transforming power of The Indwelling of The Holy Spirit is a Holy Mystery that is revealed to us as we work out our salvation daily as we allow the Holy Spirit to transform us and reconstitute us and re-consecrate us to the image of Christ. If you are to be fully found in Christ you must allow this indwelling of The Holy Spirit because God Our Father has this Holy Spirit sent to aid us in our transformation back into the heavenly beings we first were before we arrived to be clothed in flesh and blood and bone.
There is a note at the bottom of page 131 that you must not ignore or miss without severe digression from truth as follows:
“The words within quotation marks, “The real natural body, and the real blood of Christ,” are quoted by Dr. Murray from the ARticles of the Confession of Faith of the Reformed Churches of Holland. Dr. Murray did not include the words immediately following, which declare that “the manner of our partaking of the same is not by the mouth, but by the Spirit, through faith.” Dr. Murray remained true to the Reformed faith, His own view is expressed in his earlier quotation from the Heidelberg Catechism.” See the next paragraph same page 132:
“All that has now been said about the Supper must have its full application to the drinking of the blood of Jesus. It is a deep spiritual mystery i which the most intimate, the most perfect union with Christ , is brought about. It takes place where the soul, through the Holy Spirit, fully takes hold of the communion of the blood of Christ and becomes a true partaker of the disposition that He revealed in the shedding of His blood. The blood is the soul, the life of the body; where the believer, as one body with Christ, desires to abide perfectly in Him, there, brought the Spirit and in a superhuman powerful way, the blood will support and strengthen the heavenly life. The life that was poured out in the blood becomes his life. The life of the old “I” dies to make room for the life of Christ in him. By perceiving how this drinking is highest participation in the heavenly life of the Lord (Jesus Christ) faith (In Him) has one of its highest and most glorious offices.”
Try to remember once again why He shed His Blood! “Cursed is any man that is hung on a tree!” He made a way in to the Holy of Holies. The curtain between the Holy of Holies and the outer court was rent from top to bottom at the moment Jesus The Christ spoke, “It is finished! Father receive My Spirit.” Selah! Now, think about this with diligence to seek and comprehend the full import of this act of sacrifice to gain the full atonement for all who would come to believe upon Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of The Living God, Elohim.
“Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun strike on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.” (Book of Revelation 7:5-17)
We shall drink of the Living Water of Heaven to be Overcomers in Christ fit for each new day. These waters represent the waters that flowed out of Christ Jesus’ side when He was pierced for our transgressions. These were the first living waters to flow and they flowed out upon the earth to bring renewal as a progenitor for the New Earth when the old one is rolled back like a scroll. How may you ask do I know this is true? By being taught by The Spirit of The Lord Jesus Christ in heavenly realms this and many holy mysteries.
We shall also receive as Overcomers of The Adversary Satan, “He who has an ear, let him hear what The Spirit of The Lord says to the churches. (the members of His Body). To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”
We will be given this “hidden manna” which is The Bread of Life to dispense to those who are in the land when there is a famine of this Bread of Life on the earth. We will go forth dispensing these “living waters” and this “hidden manna” to those who are perishing and bring them into the Kingdom before the last trump!
What is the purpose of “the white stone with the new name written in it” you may ask.
This is another Holy Mystery revealed to those who abide in the secret place. He has revealed these mysteries to babes and to those who the wise would consider foolish and weak in the knowledge of Holy Writ.
This is a white stone with a new Name that of which only you and The Spirit of God will have knowledge. This “new name” is written inside the stone. It is hidden for a purpose. You must know your “new name” in order to overcome all the weapons of The Adversary. This New Name reveals your true identity in Christ.
Secondly, because The Spirit of God is the only other person who knows your new name, it is only He who is able to call you by this new name and if you allow Him, then only He will possess and control the reins of your spiritual being. So when The Adversary comes masquerading like an Angel of Light you need only ask, “What is My New Name?” This is what is meant when the Psalmist sang, “Deep calls to deep in the force of your waterfalls, you’re calling me in the depths of my heart.” The Lord calls to us by our New Name within the depths of our hearts where no other person or entity is able to hear it spoken.
That is why it is written, “I will kill her children (of the corrupt church) with death , and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.” ~Book of Revelation 2:23
A definition of the heart is written in Word Wealth, The New Spirit Filled Life Bible as follows: “The human heart is the dwelling place of the Lord and the Holy Spirit. In verse 23 The Spirit of The Lord states that He sees into the innermost being where all decisions concerning Him are made.”
Therefore, to possess yourself and be holy you must first delight in His Knowing you and allow His Holy Spirit to gain access to your inner heart to bring His healing and restoration for fullness of joy in His Appearing.
“The Lord builds up Jerusalem. He gathers the outcasts of Israel.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
He counts the number of stars; He calls them all by name.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power;
His understanding is infinite.
The Lord lifts up the humble;
He casts the wicked down to the ground.
Sing to The Lord with thanksgiving;
Sing praises on the harp to Our Yahweh.
Who covers the heavens with clouds,
Who prepares rain for the earth,
Who makes grass to grow on the mountains.
He gives to the beast its food,
And to the young ravens that cry.
He does not delight in the strength of man.
The Lord take pleasure in those who fear Him.
In those who hope in His Mercy.” ~Psalm 147:2-11
